Per Hellström, neuropsychologist PhD, has been working as a clinical and research neuropsychologist since 1993. Started off by organising a memory clinic for patients with what is currently labelled MCI. Worked with several clinical trials with patients with MCI, Alzheimer’s disease and Vascular dementia. Moved from Mölndal hospital to Sahlgrenska University Hospital in 1998 to broaden the field of experience and has worked with neuropsychogical assessments of patients with e.g., multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, tumor cerebri, Chiari malformations, arachnoidal and colloid cysts, stroke, dystrophia myotonica, traumatic brain injury, Huntington’s chorea, atypical Parkinson syndromes, ALS, mental retardation. The main clinical and scientific focus has been on the work in the hydrocephalus unit, specifically on the neuropsychology of iNPH (thesis in 2011).

PH has supervised psychology candidates and colleagues since 1994 and participated as a lecturer in the programme for specialists in neuropsychology since the early 2000’s.
