What is an E-poster?
E-Poster is the electronic version (one slide) of the traditional, printed poster, except that it is viewable on screen. The entire process of creating, submitting, managing and presenting poster online will be done electronically, without the need to print it out, transport it and then display it at a specific conference hall.
All E-Posters upon the approval of their respective author will also be available on the website of the Meeting.
How do E-posters work?
During the Meeting, computers will be available in a specific area of the venue, where delegates will be able to access any E-Poster of their choice at any time and as often as they want. At the same time, large screens will also be installed in the same area of the Meeting venue, in order to screen the E-Posters on a rotating basis. Abstracts of the accepted E-Posters will be published in the book of abstracts.
During an E-Poster session, the e-poster presenter will have the opportunity to make a 3-minute presentation in front of the poster and participate in a short discussion.
The presentation is obligatory for accepted E-Posters, in order to be included in the scientific programme of the Meeting.
